INTRODUCING MALVAX
The Malaria Vaccine (MalVax) Alliance is a new global, independent collaboration accelerating the development of malaria vaccines.
The MalVax Alliance unites the malaria vaccine R&D community to drive evidence and innovation from lab to policy faster, so better vaccines reach the people who need them sooner. It coordinates action around shared priorities by:
Strengthening innovation and clinical investigation through shared frameworks
Improving the quality and comparability of research evidence
Accelerating the translation of that evidence into regulatory and policy decisions
Objectives
Together, we are working to:
Share Science
Strengthen scientific exchange and shared knowledge across the community.
Break Bottlenecks
Coordinate expertise to address common research and development challenges.
Align Efforts
Improve comparability and support evidence generation across the ecosystem.

Working Groups
We are pleased to announce the Working Group Co-Chairs have now been confirmed and are actively setting up and organising their groups to address the most pressing barriers to next-generation malaria vaccine R&D. Planning is underway to create opportunities for community consultation beyond Working Group members to ensure you all have a chance to feed into this important work. Interactive sessions with the Working Groups will also be included on the MalVax 2027 conference programme.

Conference
The conference will take place in Kuala Lumpur, 31 January to 3 February 2027 at the Shangri-La Hotel. A discounted room block has been arranged at the venue for conference participants. Click here for more information and to reserve your room.
